Ingredients
  • 1TBsp Oil
  • 2C Broth from Braised BeefRecipe at: TAIWANESE BRAISED TOMATO BEEF NOODLE SOUP
  • 10Chunks of Beef from Braised Beefcut into bite size
  • 1 TomatoCut into 8 pieces
  • 3Leaves of CabbageChopped
  • 2Cloves garlicMinced
  • 1TBsp Soy Sauce
Thickening Agent
  • 1-1/2TBsp Corn Starchor Tapioca starch
  • 1/4C Water
Rice
  • 2C RiceCooked according to instruction on the package
Instructions
  1. Heat up 1 TBsp Oil, stir fry garlic and cabbage until soft
  2. Add the tomatoes, chunks of beef and 2C broth and 2Tbsp of Soy Sauce and bring to a boil
  3. In a bowl, mix 1-1/2TBsp corn starch with 1/4C Water
  4. Pour the corn starch mixture to the beef stew and mix well, cook until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon then turn off the heat
  5. Pour over cooked rice and serve
