Ingredients
  • 4C Finely Chopped Cabbage
  • 1lb Ground Pork
  • 4Cloves garlicGrated
  • 1inch GingerGrated
  • 3TBsp Soy Sauce
  • 2TBsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2tsp Salt
  • 1/2tsp Ground White Pepper
  • 1/4C Broth or Water
Instructions
  1. Lay the ground pork on the cutting board, chop back and forth with two knives, mixing and chopping until the meat is sticky and holds together better. (This is to disperse the fat and the lean meat more evenly, break up any bigger pieces and also help with soaking up the extra broth/water we’re adding)
  2. Move the finely chopped ground pork into a mixing bowl, add: 1/4C Finely Chopped Cabbage 4 Cloves of Grated Garlic 1″ Ginger, Grated 3TBsp Soy Sauce 2TBsp Sesame Oil 1/2tsp Salt 1/2tsp Ground White Pepper Mix Well
  3. One tablespoon at a time, add 1/4C Broth or water, mix until the liquid is absorbed after each tablespoon
  4. The filling is ready for making dumplings!
Cooking Fresh Dumplings
  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil, add the dumplings and cook for approximately 6 mins. The dumplings will float to the top
Cooking Frozen dumplings
  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil, add the dumplings and cook for approximately 10 mins. The dumplings will float to the top
Serve
  1. Serve with soy sauce, minced garlic and/or Mala Hot Sauce if you like it hot
